Course Description This course aims at providing a comprehensive overview of the modern challenges and existing solutions in the field of energy-aware and approximate computing. Students will apply existing knowledge on digital design, computer architecture, code optimization and run-time systems for determining low power and energy aware design. Students will be exposed to principles of approximate computing to understand when it is possible to unlock the unprecise computation.
