Cogeneration: energy savings, evaluation indexes and plant technologies. Internal combustion engines classification and applications. Wind turbines fundamentals and applications. Geothermal sources exploitation. Solar energy: PV and CSP technologies overview, theory and application. Overview of other renewables (tidal, OTEC, mini-hydro, Biomass).
