Course Description The course aims to provide tools and techniques to analyze, model and redesign business processes, and to develop the ability to conduct a complex group project. Students will be able to understand the dynamics of business process management in different companies through the study of real cases and facing typical problems of different sectors. During the course, special attention will be given to the use of data analysis and process mapping software to complement the learning of the whole study course and to provide tools that are directly usable in companies. Therefore, the course offers an important opportunity to deepen the knowledge already acquired in previous courses, complementing them with quantitative and qualitative applications derived from business cases and conducted with IT tools. The topics covered in the course are the following: Business Process Management and Business Process Reengineering (BPR) Business Process mapping and modelling Business Process performance measurement Business Process analysis and diagnosis Business Process redesign Evaluation and choice of the redesign alternative
