Course Description The illustration of basics in urban geography will be followed by a deeper phase of investigation on specific cases and critical reflections on territorial change issues. Reflections will focus on the reasons of change, while the analysis will concentrate on the identification and reading of the modification of city parts as well as land parts - in terms of role and functions. As it has been assumed as a relevant form of the contemporary city, the land where either new urban facilities (shopping-malls, airports, parks, isolated city fragments) or low density housing scatter will be investigated.
